Pāmu is the brand name for Landcorp Farming Limited, a State-Owned Enterprise with a nationwide portfolio of over 110 farms that is a world class agricultural leader.

Upper Hutt City Council turns to Silicon for Managed Infrastructure and Support

Silicon leads Resene Paints cloud transformation initiative
Since 2015, Silicon has played a key role supporting Resene on a journey to modernise its Information Systems, with a “cloud first” transformation approach. This engagement has touched almost every part of Resene’s business from its nationwide network of over 170 colorshops and resellers, to its Head Office – improving performance, resilience and service to its stakeholders.

Silicon enables Education New Zealand with enhanced Office 365
Silicon was engaged by Education New Zealand to migrate its local Microsoft Exchange system to Office 365 with hybrid Active Directory. Our extensive experience and methodical approach ensured a seamless, timely migration with no down time and minimal impact to over 250 individual and shared mailboxes.
SIlicon also deployed an Office 365 Backup solution, to protect ENZ’s Office 365 data from accidental data loss, as well as potential cyber-security attacks.

Complete Managed Technology Solution for Takeovers Panel
The Takeovers Panel is an independent Crown Entity which regulates New Zealand’s takeover market, strengthening investor confidence in New Zealand’s capital markets by enforcing the Takeovers Code.
Silicon was first engaged by the Takeovers Panel as a Managed Services Provider to advise on an enhanced BDR solution to mitigate the risk of data loss, ransomware attacks and natural disasters.
Silicon deployed a Datto SIRIS 3 solution, with on premise replication and Cloud virtualisation to protect against a range of disaster scenarios. Since then our engagement has broadened to include infrastructure management and support, cyber-security, and strategic assistance.
Silicon provides the Infrastructure foundation for the Catalyst Cloud and develops Microsoft Server Images
Since 2016, Silicon has provided server infrastructure for the Catalyst Cloud – New Zealand’s most open and flexible public cloud platform. Silicon’s locally assembled server platforms provide the perfect building blocks for Catalyst Cloud to be able to deliver scalable and cost effective cloud solutions, enabling them to complete with, and provide many advantages over global cloud providers.
Silicon has also developed Microsoft Server and SQL Server images for the Catalyst Cloud – allowing them to provide an even broader range of cloud solutions to their clients.
